lyrics
Maybe you should see my baby and me
Looking so cool and fancy-free
Sometimes it feels like I'm flying
Playing pop songs all summer long
Soda pop and gum comes on strong
I don't wanna see you crying
And I don't want you to feel this way
You know the words but you can't explain
Sometimes you cry cause' we look so good
I'll never get tired of dreaming about you
You never smile but you know I can tell
Looking in your eyes I'm someone else
Sometimes I'm by the fire
Maybe someplace, any time at all
Staring at the sun and having a ball
Sometimes it feels like I'm dying
And I don't want you to feel this way
You know the words but you can't explain
Sometimes you cry cause' we look so good
I'll never get tired of dreaming about you
And I don't want you to feel this way
You know the words but you can't explain
Sometimes you cry cause' we look so good
I'll never get tired of dreaming about you
And I don't want you to feel this way
You know the words but you can't explain
Sometimes you cry cause' we look so good
I'm so sick and tired of leaving
Buoyant one-off release from a long-running Atlanta band who juggle garage rock, folk, and power pop; don't miss the Mark Morrison cover. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 9, 2024
Wow! A time machine back to 1980 with killer pop hooks and lyrics about girls and relationships and all that stuff that power pop is about. I bought the album and The Reflectors sent me an additional CD, that I guess is the first record, along with a sticker and button. Thanks guys! Amazing Power Pop! philipspence
